The vehicle will be full of fuel at the start of the hire – to be returned similarly at the end of the hire to avoid fuel charges.
Cautionary deposit: Cheque or bankers draft. We want people to enjoy driving our cars and the vast majority will do so with respect for other road users and our cars. Unfortunately, we have to take into consideration the very few that might not. Our insurance policy runs with a large excess so if a claim were to be made even for minor damage body/mechanical by a third party or the hirer then the cautionary deposit or a portion of it would be used and the remainder returned to the hirer.
Cautionary deposit to be returned at end of hire, after a vehicle inspection. Fair wear and tear and small stone chips acceptable.
The hirer must be aged between 30 and 76 inclusive, hold a full valid driving licence with convictions verification page included. One additional driver for the same vehicle can be added at a cost of £12/day.
The hirer will have to scan/photo and email their driving licence along with documentation showing their name and address (see terms and conditions for further details). The driving licence must also be shown at the commencement of hire.
